The combination of the OSIX with the CCM 41 supercardioid and the B 5 D windscreen (see picture) represents an optimal solution. It offers especially significant improvement for indoor boom operation. Attenuation of solid-borne noise from the boom is achieved by the unique architecture of the CINELA OSIX series. Optimal efficiency and distribution of weight is achieved by having a special type for each shape and weight of microphone.

Recommended windscreen:
B 5 D hollow foam-type windscreen (see photo at right)

Usable windscreens:
B 5 or W 5 foam-type windscreens,
B 20, W 20 basket-type windscreen

With one constraint also the W 5 D hollow foam-type windscreen can be used: for proper operation of the suspension, the windscreen may not be pushed onto the CCM up to the stop.
