Troisi Multi-Channel converters
are designed for multi-track recording and playback and surround sound
production for mastering and digital cinema appications. Eight channel
analog to digital conversion provides 16, 20 and 24 bit quantization
at sample rates from 24KHz to 96Khz. Digital to analog conversion provides
eight and twelve channel conversion for 5.1, 7.1 and multi-lingual surround
sound.

Octal DC8-224ADC 8-Channel
A/D Converter
The TROISI Octal A/D will
take you into the 21st century with the purest specs around. Eight channels
in a 1U package with features that will vastly improve the sound of
your digital multitrack projects:
-
Highest Quality Analog Circuitry
Very low offset analog circuitry eliminates blocking capacitors
from the signal path with THD below .0005% (the limit of our test
instruments) and an analog dynamic range well beyond 130dB. Each
channel provide a gain setting trim pot for 14dB of gain range to
support a wide variety of input levels with no sonic degradation,
even in unbalanced input modes.
-
Pure Digital Clocking and Sampling
Because the four stereo A/D converters are driven from one extremely
low jitter internal clock (44.1kHz, 48.0kHz, 88.2kHz or 96kHz),
the highest quality sampling is ensured. A unique low jitter phase
locked loop ensures easy synchronization to external word clocks
from 28kHz to 100kHz. Each channel includes a mid level LED indicator
(-30dBFS to 0dBFS) and a peak L.E.D indicator to let you know if
you have any overs.
-
Digital Features
Four standard AES/EBU stereo digital outputs are provided for easy
interface. Each digital output pair can be adjusted for 16, 20 and
24bit quantization. In addition each pair of digital outputs can
be independantly selected for standard resolution (44.1/48kHz) or
high resolution (88.2/96kHz) making these converters ideal for working
on 5.1 mode suround projects. Custom packages with SPDIF (coaxial
or optical) and DA-88 50 pin interfaces are also available
.
Whether your application is
digital multitracking, broadcast, video post-production, 5.1 or 7.1 surround
sound, or configuring a custom system, treat your ears to the sound that
you deserve and expect! |

DC8-224DAC D/A Converter
The DC8-224DAC provides eight
channel of digital to analog conversion in one easy to use 1U 19"
chassis. Ideal for multi channel play back for digital recorders and
for use with 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound. Each of the four AES/EBU digital
input channels provides speed and error indication. Dual phase locked
loops are used to insure low jitter clock recovery for clean, low distortion
operation. Eight analog outputs provide up to +24 dBu output levels
at 0dBFS digital inputs with adjustable output levels for operation
between +10 dBu and +24 dBu. A proprietary analog output drive circuit
allows balanced or unbalanced operation without signal level shift.
