A "+" indicates positive bias, the preferred option. Omit the "+" if negative bias is required, and deduct $25 if ordering the STR-79. Models marked "!" are positive bias only; models with no mark are negative bias only. STR-NCs can be wired either way: for positive bias, connect the red wire; for negative bias, the black. Ground the unused wire to the shield.
To select a color other than black (B) or gray (G), insert the appropriate letter (T=Tan, W=White) after the first hyphen in the model designated, and add $25; e.g., "STR-WML-XL+ $478.00."
Battery supplies may be ordered separately. Add the suffix specifying the make, plug type, and bias of the mating microphone to "STR-79-"; e.g., "STR-79-ML+." Its price is the difference between the two price columns above (less $25, if the negative bias option is selected).
Microphones can be ordered without box or accessories, to replace lost or damaged units.
Other than a broken or shorted connection at the plug, the sealed capsule and its captive cable
make any other repair impractical.The price for just the microphone with its connector is $60 less than for the complete package.
