| The most recent Sabra-Som product, the SMS-5.1, is a universal multiple microphone support for capturing 5.1 surround sound. It consists of a disc to which five hexagonal, 20 cm arms are attached radially at adjustable angles. Mounted at the outer end of each arm is an SSM-1 Universal Shockmount, which can be adjusted vertically, allowing the orientation of any microphone. The SMS-5.1 can be mounted either on a conventional microphone stand or suspended from three guy lines. The rig can be balanced by shifting its center of gravity with the adjustable offset. | ||
