A 20 / A 20 S Elastic Suspension with Swivel For a microphone with a 20 mm diameter. These elastic suspensions support microphones of the Colette Series. They are identical in construction, but the elastics of the A 20 are softer than those of the A 20 S. The A 20 is recommended when only the CMC microphone amplifier with its MK capsule are used, and maximum protection from vibration is desired as, for example, when used on a boom. When accessories such as the CUT filter, GVC or SKC are added to the microphone, the stiffer elastics of the A 20 S version are required. The metal base has a 5/8"-27 NS internal thread. A threaded adapter is supplied for mounting on 3/8"-16 and 1/2"-13 studs. A special clamp secures the microphone cable. SG 22 Dual-microphone version of the SG 20.A two-microphone version of the SG 20 in which the angle between the microphones can be varied as well as the overall angle of inclination. It is not recommended for stereo pickups because of the very limited angle and spacing possible between the microphones. It is normally used to hold backup microphones in situations where a single pickup is deemed too risky.
