In its frequency response and in the range of its applications the MK 41 S/CCM 41 S resembles the MK 4 S/CCM 4 S, but due to its greater directivity it further attenuates reverberant sound and is less prone to feedback.

The roll-off of its low-frequency response is offset by the proximity effect at close working distances.
