K-SM Shockmount The K-SM is a Shockmount. (A shock mount supports the microphone.) The microphone is held firmly in two specially formulated polymer mounts. The mounts stretch to accommodate 19 to 25 mm microphones. (As close as we could get to “One Size Fits All.”) The mounts easily attach to thin machined aluminum arms. The assembly is very rugged for use on boom poles in ENG, documentary and other demanding applications. With the addition of the K-BWC the K-SM is ideal for use on the Canon XL-1 Camera. It properly supports the microphone and elevates it away from camera noise and allows it to clear matte boxes and filter holders.

K-HG & K-HGW Hand Grips
The K-HG & K-HGW Hand Grips can be used with either mount to hand hold the system and easily attach to a pole or stand. It is not a big clunky “Pistol Grip” but rather a foam covered graphite tube with a K-Tek pole head and a threaded base. The Hand Grip weighs only 2.7 oz and doesn't look silly at the end of a boom pole. The K-HGW is wired with soft cloth covered cable for maximum noise isolation. This item is 6.6 oz.

These make mounting professional microphones to the cameras very simple and versatile. The K-BWS weighs 0.8 oz and is specific to Sony cameras; the K-BWC weighs 0.7 oz. and is specific to Canon cameras.

K-SUS Microphone suspenders made from a special polymer and are designed to be a very high quality general-purpose replacement for rubber bands and bands and clips in various suspension systems. They fit most suspension frames with a four point mounting pattern.
