The UltraClamp UCA is a powder-coated aluminum alloy clamp with a removable ball-joint head which can clamp to flat or round objects. It has maximum jaw openings of 1.5" (UCA) and 2.5" (UCS 2.5). Faced with a 1" cork disk and a rubber-coated base, it will not mar sensitive surfaces. The ball-joint head locks to the clamp at 45° increments, and can rotate over 90° in any direction.
The UCA has a 1/4" threaded stud for a camera, with adapters available for microphone mounts.
The UCA-T has a 1/4" threaded stud for a camera and a 5/8" microphone adapter.
The UCA-2T substitutes 3/8" & 5/8" threaded adapters for mounting microphones.
The new UltraClamp UCA 2.5 can clamp to larger flat or round objects, and has a maximum jaw opening of 2.5". Since the clamp will not close completely it needs an additional object to grip (see below).
